Four newly pastors were Ordained, the ceremony was officiated by Apostle James, Apostle Arcton and Apostle Enoch. This was assisted by other senior and associate pastors’ presence. It was a joyful moment, but with sober reflection.

Apostle James preached and challenger the newly ordain pastors to arise and fulfill the noble calling no matter the circumstance that may come on their way in course of the work no mater wherever they may be found. Faithfulness, integrity and truthiness are foundational strength of any man called by God to serve the Master Jesus Christ, carrying out their assignment with perseverance, endurance and longsuffering.

The Newly pastor were ordained to Office on that blessed saturday, Charges and blessings from the Scriptures were pronounced and declared on each of them by the officiating Ministers.

The Newly Ordained Pastors and Wives kneeing before the officiating Ministers for prayers.

Sunday morning arrives, the light of the day begins unfolding up from its resting place, and it rises in its full strength. Its brightness and shining light led the way as we match our steps back to the Church service for thanksgiving service for the newly ordained Pastors, secondly also for head pastor 30th years of ministry in Togoland. On that day Apostle James, his airplane and foot landed in the soil of Lome, Togo to begin his ministry and church planting.

The auditorium was once again charge with worship, praises, celebration and thanksgiving unto God.

Rev Arcton once again mounts the Podium to deliver his message from God to the audience. It was a solemn day and the atmosphere was blissful. God’s presence was mightily felt.  Expectations were very high, yet the message was delivered in simple terms and ways but commanding, powerful and soul uplifting.

Topic of the message:”Counting the Cost of Discipleship”

The Man of God heighted on the calling and ministry of Apostle Paul in

2 Corinthian 11:16-33

16   I say again, Let no man think me a fool; if otherwise, yet as a fool receive me, that I may boast myself a little.

   17 That which I speak, I speak [it] not after the Lord, but as it were foolishly, in this confidence of boasting.

   18 Seeing that many glory after the flesh, I will glory also.

   19 For ye suffer fools gladly, seeing ye [yourselves] are wise.

   20  For ye suffer, if a man bring you into bondage, if a man devour [you], if a man take [of you], if a man exalt himself, if a man smite you on the face.

   21 I speak as concerning reproach, as though we had been weak. Howbeit whereinsoever any is bold, (I speak foolishly,) I am bold also.

   22 Are they Hebrews? so [am] I. Are they Israelites? so [am] I. Are they the seed of Abraham? so [am] I.

   23 Are they ministers of Christ? (I speak as a fool) I [am] more; in labours more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequent, in deaths oft.

   24 Of the Jews five times received I forty [stripes] save one.

   25 Thrice was I beaten with rods, once was I stoned, thrice I suffered shipwreck, a night and a day I have been in the deep;

   26  [In] journeyings often, [in] perils of waters, [in] perils of robbers, [in] perils by [mine own] countrymen, [in] perils by the heathen, [in] perils in the city, [in] perils in the wilderness, [in] perils in the sea, [in] perils among false brethren;

   27 In weariness and painfulness, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness.

   28 Beside those things that are without, that which cometh upon me daily, the care of all the churches.

   29 Who is weak, and I am not weak? who is offended, and I burn not?

   30 If I must needs glory, I will glory of the things which concern mine infirmities.

   31 The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which is blessed for evermore, knoweth that I lie not.

   32 In Damascus the governor under Aretas the king kept the city of the Damascenes with a garrison, desirous to apprehend me:

   33 And through a window in a basket was I let down by the wall, and escaped his hands.

The glory of a man, God uses is seen by the price he or she is committed and willing to pay for in his life time. The Apostle Paul boasted of his suffering and afflicting which he endures for the sake of the Gospel of Christ Jesus his Lord, not on the pleasures and acquisitions of material wealth of this world, the man of God says.

In brief the man of God call on the church to appreciate God’s love, faithfulness and tender mercies in the life of their head Pastor, for this 30 years service and sacrificing for the work of the church and ministry, both in difficult time, dangerous time and in Pleasant time as well. Many pastors have been trained, ordained and sent out to the mission field for harvest of souls into the kingdom of God.

Rev Ed Arcton preaching on Sunday at Victory Evangelistic Church, Kpessi – Togo

The Church keep matching forward redeeming more lost souls and occupying more territory and expanding the advancement of the Kingdom of God among men.

Jesus Christ declares and quotes “And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Bar–jona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed [it] unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” (Matt 16:16-19)
