Mission report - Day 3

(28th September, 2018 – Friday)

No morning devotion today due to heavy rainfall

Leadership seminar with Church Leaders at 10am to 1:30pm

Resource person: Rev Arcton
Prayers led by Deacon Isaac Fiifi kakraba

The consciousness and alertness of a leadership role in the Church was the topic! The leader in the church must always be on watch like a soldier. The leader must act right even when no one is watching. He must maintain high sense of integrity and sincerity consciously or unconsciously in every area of his life and work. He or she will account for all actions and inactions. The leader must lead an exemplary life, synchronizing the Word of God and his personal life. He must show the way and must be ahead and go the extra miles to edifying the church by fulfilling the purpose of God for the Church.

Prayers were offered for the Church School – Christ the King Baptist Academy. Also prayers were made for the children, teachers and staffs of the school.

We then returned to our quarters to rest and pray and also embarked on follow up on backsliding Church members same day.

Evening service
Speaker: Rev Arcton
Topic: The Word is God – John 1:1-14
The significant of the Word of God in one’s life, it impact and what the Word of God is and does in the life of a Christian. The man of God emphasized on the truth that the Word of God is God himself becoming flesh in human form, the disciples who walk and work with His declare “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth”. The Man of God said, and I quote “the Word of God is God’s power and the strength of the believer. He stated that the power of prayer, backed by the Word of God is effective and powerful because prayer is communicating to the Most High God and it is necessary for you and me as Christians to hear God speak to us direct in His WORD. Knowledge was impacted and eyes were opened to hear such a message that woke us all up to see the truth, life and light God’s word impose on us.
